In this webinar, Dr. Wexler presents practical advice for care providers who want to help patients manage their hypertension. A nationally recognized researcher of the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension), Dr. Wexler presents recent study results of the DASH diet, reviews its benefits, and provides pragmatic strategies that caregivers can adopt to help low-income patients understand and maintain the diet.

In addition, an update on Cardi-OH’s progress and upcoming events is provided, and a brief preview of our Project ECHO, a telehealth model that links healthcare providers across the state via videoconferencing technology to share best practices.
