Michael W. Konstan, MD

Dr. Konstan is the Vice Dean for Translational Research and Director of Community Health Programs at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Konstan has led multiple local, regional, and statewide community health improvement initiatives, including First Year Cleveland, tasked with reducing infant mortality in Cuyahoga County, and programs focused on improving health and reducing health disparities in Medicaid patients across Ohio.

Dr. Konstan also served as PI for the Greater Cleveland Health Neighborhood, a consortium focused on improving healthcare access for underserved populations. In addition to leading these health improvement initiatives, Dr. Konstan is internationally recognized for his research and expertise in cystic fibrosis. Among his many awards are the "All Stars Among Us" award for community service from Major League Baseball and People Magazine.
