Saundra (Soni) Regan, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. She holds a Master's degree in Gerontological Studies from Miami University and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the University of Cincinnati Center for Clinical and Translational Science Training Community Engagement core and Team Science core.
Dr. Regan's research interests include social determinants of health, chronic pain, geriatrics, chronic illness management, and palliative care. Her methodological expertise is in qualitative research and program evaluation. She is currently collaborating on three Health Resources and Services Administration-funded training grants, three Medicaid Technical Assistance and Policy Program-funded grants, and one grant on chronic pain funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
