Summary

In the eighth clinic of the Cardi-OH ECHO QI Cardiovascular Series, co-lead Goutham Rao, MD, FAHA, defines "burnout" and describes strategies to prevent burnout and promote joy of work among providers and staff. He then creates a plan to measure burnout among clinicians in participating clinics' environment. Practices then review a clinical pearl on the stages of cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome and discuss a case study on addressing high rates of turnover of providers and staff in a fabricated clinic scenario.
